Privacy Policy

How Pillar Technology LLC handles account data, uploads, support communications, and related privacy choices for Dream Dress. Effective April 17, 2026.

Effective date

April 17, 2026

This policy is intended to reflect the current Dream Dress product surface as implemented today.

1. Overview

Dream Dress is operated by Pillar Technology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use the Dream Dress website and iPhone app.

This website is primarily informational. The Dream Dress iPhone app is where account creation, photo uploads, favorites, saved try-on history, and account deletion actions are handled.

By using Dream Dress, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account and profile information such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and onboarding preferences when you create or use a Dream Dress account.

We collect photos you upload for try-on generation, as well as related metadata such as file type, size, width, height, and processing status.

We collect generated try-on results, favorite dress selections, saved activity associated with your account, and limited account state needed to reopen your prior experience.

We may also collect privacy-choice records related to whether you have allowed AI photo processing for try-on generation.

If you contact us for support or privacy questions, we collect the contents of those communications and any information you choose to include by emailing ryan@pillartechnologyllc.com.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain your account, authenticate sign-in through supported providers, and keep your Dream Dress experience synchronized across sessions.

We use uploaded source photos and related generation inputs to create AI try-on results, store your generated looks, and allow you to revisit saved favorites and prior results later.

Before AI processing begins, users can decide in the app whether to allow Dream Dress to send uploaded photos and related generation inputs to third-party AI or image-generation providers for virtual try-on creation.

We use account state and activity information to support core product functions such as onboarding personalization, favorites, profile management, and account deletion.

We use support and technical information to respond to questions, investigate bugs, maintain service reliability, and protect Dream Dress against misuse, fraud, or abuse.

4. Service Providers and Infrastructure

Dream Dress relies on third-party infrastructure to operate the product. Based on the current Dream Dress implementation, this includes Firebase Authentication for supported sign-in flows, backend/database and file storage systems used to store uploaded photos and generated results, third-party AI or image-generation providers used to create try-on outputs from uploaded photos, Apple for App Store billing and purchase records if paid features are enabled, and Vercel for hosting this informational website.

Depending on the product configuration in use, Dream Dress may use AI or image-generation providers such as Google, OpenAI, or xAI to process uploaded photos and generate virtual try-on results.

If subscription tooling is enabled later, Dream Dress may also use a subscription management provider such as RevenueCat to help validate App Store purchase status and manage subscription entitlements.

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, operate product functionality, maintain infrastructure, process requests you initiate, or comply with legal obligations. We expect those providers to protect user data in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law.

We do not describe this website as using a separate advertising or analytics program in this v1 legal draft. If website tracking practices change, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those tools go live.

5. Retention and Deletion

We retain account profile information, uploaded source photos, generated try-on history, favorites, and related records for as long as your account remains active unless a different retention period is required by law, dispute resolution needs, fraud prevention, or similar legitimate business purposes.

Generated outputs and related metadata may be stored with your account so you can reopen prior results later, subject to the same retention and deletion practices described here.

You can initiate account deletion inside the Dream Dress app by using the in-app Delete Account flow. When your deletion request is processed, we aim to remove account data and associated app content from our active records, except for information we are required or permitted to retain by law.

If paid subscriptions or purchases are enabled, billing and purchase records may also continue to be maintained by Apple under Apple’s own policies and legal obligations.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may review and update certain account information through the app experience. You may also contact us with questions about your account, your information, or your privacy choices.

Users can revisit AI photo processing consent in the app settings, including revoking that consent for future try-on generation. Revoking consent does not automatically delete previously stored uploads or generated results; account deletion remains available separately.

If you want to delete your Dream Dress account, use the in-app Delete Account option. If you need help understanding the process, you may review the public delete-account page on this website or contact us directly.

7. Children’s Privacy

Dream Dress is not directed to children under 13, and we do not intend to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Dream Dress, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information associated with Dream Dress. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, your Apple or Google account credentials, and access to the email address associated with your Dream Dress account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Dream Dress evolves, our legal obligations change, or our data practices are refined.

When we make material updates, we may revise the effective date and update the public policy posted on this website.
